Caerus Mineral Resources reports strong results from due diligence drilling at Troulli
Caerus Mineral Resources PLC (LON:CMRS) is continuing with due diligence drilling on the recently acquired Troulli project and thus far results have significantly exceeded expectations.
Eight vertical percussion holes were completed, and all holes intersected significant gold and/or copper mineralisation. The results indicate the presence of a robust and potentially significant oxide gold and volcanic massive sulphide copper-gold deposit located on the site of a former small-scale mine.
Volcanic massive sulphide mineralisation was found to be present at the base of every hole drilled, while the surface oxide gold zone remains open in all directions.
Amogn the highlights were 12 metres at 5.11 grams per tonne gold and 22 metres at 1.93 grams.
“Drilling results from the preliminary programme have exceeded expectations,” said Martyn Churchouse, chief executive of Caerus Mineral Resources.
“We now have the exciting task of drilling to establish the limits of both the oxide gold and VMS copper-gold mineralisation at both Troulli and the neighbouring Kokkinapetra.”
