Galantas Gold strengthens advisory board
Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL, TSX-V:GAL) strengthened its advisory board to help management plan the future growth of the company.
It appointed professional engineer Anthony (Tony) Makuch, the president and chief executive of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc; Ernest Mast, president and chief executive of Doré Copper Mining Corp; professional geologist Tim Warman, chief executive of Fiore Gold Ltd; and chartered geologist John Arthurs to its advisory board.
“We are very pleased that Tony, Tim, John and Ernest have agreed to join our advisory board,” said Galantas chief executive Mario Stifano. “Our technical, execution and operational capabilities have been enhanced as a result of these appointments.”
“The calibre of their leadership and experience positions Galantas to generate value for all our stakeholders as we work to ramp up commercial production and capitalize on the exploration potential to expand the high-grade gold resources at the Omagh mine and for new discoveries,” he said.
Galantas also announced that it has engaged JDS Energy & Mining Inc. to conduct work on the Cavanacaw underground mine in Omagh, Northern Ireland. JDS is a Canadian engineering, construction, and underground development company.
JDS and the technical team from Galantas will work together to provide mine design and scheduling as part of Galantas’ plan to ramp up commercial production.
